- About Me:
- I started playing guitar during my teen years and studied classical guitar for a couple of years in my early twenties. After hearing Doc Watson in a club, like many others, I became obsessed with the sound of the flatpicked guitar, tunes and songs. Soon after, I also became acquainted with the styles of Carence White, Norman Blake and Dan Crary.
Since that time, "flatpicking" has given me many hours of enjoyment and a few of frustration. I really enjoy singing some too.
As someone said, "playing music, makes it all worthwhile". I would add to that, especially if is acoustic/bluegrass/traditional.
And speaking of acoustic/bluegrass/traditional. What a great place to listen, learn and pick. I can't think of any other place than Fiddle and Pick. Let's not take this for granted and support it!!
