Need: Parking attendants on Concert night. This will help us with the neighborhood!

Street team to get concert and workshops flier adds to bulletin boards. We have no money to advertise and need help in this area! Gretchen is tied down inside the building teaching full time and hosting evening events. Is there a bulletin board at your work, church, hangout etc... that you could hang a flier?

Internet street team to spread the word on various workshops, lectures, concerts, family events, etc...

Writers; are you someone to write a feature article on The Musical Heritage Center at the Fiddle & Pick. About us being a music school for all ages and all levels and get the word out to small town newspapers? The Cheatham Advocate, the Westview paper or one of the Dickson and White Bluff papers? Is there someone that could get our special events into multiple papers for us? On a regular basis, this contribution could make the Center become known to the folks in the area that would benefit from the Center. We really need press! We just can't afford adds.

Need: Door monitoring. It would be so nice for a group of volunteers to donate a few hours each week day be at the door when random people show up wondering what we are and what we do. Give them a calendar, teaching brochure and explain a few things. This would be great for the person who has been wanting to get out more but doesn't know where to go out. You could read a book and relax and do a great service to our school.

Sponsor a child in taking an instrument Suggest a child in need of help to learn an instrument. Call Gretchen to discuss these programs 812-2192. We have a few mandolins and a few fiddles, and we are constructing a mandolin and fiddle class for kids that could really use music in their life but their families need our help to make it happen.
